Our Goals
In 1979, Milal Mission was formed to share the faith we have in Jesus Christ with the disabled (evangelism); to work with the disabled to create a world in which everyone can live and love one another for who they are (service); and to invoke evangelism in the church while raising our community’s awareness in regards to the disabled (enlightenment).
Saturday Class
We host weekly Agape Program on Saturdays. The program is catering to two different client age groups - Children and Adult. These programs are created and overseen by program coordinators and offer volunteers opportunities to meet and cultivate meaningful relationships with our clients through art, cooking, and physical education classes.
Milal Camp
The annual Camp Agape hosts over 600 Milal Families from Eastern North America (New York, New Jersey, DC, Georgia, Philadelphia, Connecticut, etc.) in a single location to worship and praise together in a 2 night, 3 day camp. The camp itself is coordinated to feature assorted festivities, activities and games catered to our friends and volunteers.
Group Home
Group Home Care and Rehab Programs currently cater to six clients with learning disabilities who reside at Milal Mission in New York’s headquarters. Clients are offered special opportunities for employment, and translation services at schools, hospitals, and clinics.
